Our Story
In 2021, two physicians and a surgeon came together with a shared vision: to build a research laboratory dedicated to uncovering the molecular mechanisms and pathways that drive Alzheimer’s disease. Rather than pursuing yet another strategy to remove misfolded proteins, they chose to return to first principles and rethink the disease from the ground up. After years of research, that effort led to a breakthrough. In 2024, NeuVitas Therapeutics was born.
Breakthroughs like deep brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease and vagal nerve stimulation in epilepsy proved something fundamental: the network can be directly engaged. The field of neuromodulation — treating disease by targeting dysfunctional neural circuits rather than chemistry alone — has arrived.
